in internet explorer click the "search" button at the top, then click
"customize" this will bring you into the search settings for IE

i tried that still get the same search engine yoogee.com its a nightmare
cant shift it
any other ideas

Ah - you've been caught by a browser hijacker (a kind of attack
that antivirus programs don't deal with). The general advice for
handling this kind of problem is to download and try (in this
order) Ad-aware, Spybot Search & Destroy, and CWShredder.
