Hi,
Was wondering if anyone could help..
I'm trying to lockdown a machine so that users can't go around changing the
settings. I've got most things done..

The only problem that I have just found is that when the users start help in
IE, they get the options to select Internet options.
Which I can't seem to stop them gaining access too....

Anyone got any ideas?

Many Thanks

That's very tricky, as not only do many other Windows help files provide the
means to access the Internet Options dialog box -- see, for example, the
online help for Notepad and Calculator -- but the only way to remove the
Options button is to decompile each help file, change the project settings,
and then recompile. This process may break certain features of the help
files, such as their context-sensitivity, because decompiling/recompiling
isn't a "round-trip" process.

If preventing access to the dialog box is a major issue for you, the best
option may simply be to delete the help files. Not a desirable solution, but
I don't think there's a failsafe alternative...
